International Travel Health Insurance
Special Protection When You Are Far From Home
Many Americans travel to foreign countries for their dream vacation. Others go abroad not to sightsee, but as short-term missionaries, volunteering their time to help the poor in third world countries.
Regardless of why one travels abroad, all will face a common problem. Health insurance policies are not normally designed to cover you outside the U.S.A.
Even those that do provide coverage outside the country usually assess an out of network penalty, and may have other coverage restrictions as well as complex reimbursement requirements for out of country claims.
Fortunately, there is a simple solution:
International Travel Insurance.
International policies offer surprisingly comprehensive coverage at extremely low rates. While pre-existing conditions typically are not covered, they do a wonderful job of paying your bills if you should get sick or have an accident.
Emergency Medical Evacuation?
One of the best features of travel insurance is the Emergency Medical Evacuation, which can bring you to the best hospital that is suited for your needs—it can even bring U.S. citizens back to the United States!
Hazardous Activities?
Plan to participate in some fun, but potentially hazardous activities? Things like Scuba Diving, Surfing, Zip Lining, Jet, Snow and Water Skiing, Motorcycling, as well as some other activities, are usually excluded unless you pay extra to have them covered. The extra cost for this additional coverage is very low, so don’t skimp.
Security Evacuation Benefit?
Security Evacuation benefit, which pays for evacuation to a safe country in case of danger due to political unrest, mobs, or insurrection. If you suddenly find yourself in an area where violence has broken out, this benefit can be a lifesaver—literally.
If you're planning a trip outside of the U.S., we can get you covered—FAST!
What if I have a Claim?
You need to report a claim within 60 days of treatment. You need to file the paperwork for the claim within 90 days of treatment.
Which policy is right for me?
There are different options for international coverage, depending on how long you will be traveling.
